Exederm Baby Lotion Review

This is a product that comes in a standard lotion bottle. It is targeted towards children and is approved by the national eczema association. I had no idea what that meant at first, but apparently the criteria for being included in that registry is very rigorous. It is supposed to relieve dry, itchy, red, and swelling skin and is supposed to be good for adults too in some cases. While it does well at making sure my baby’s skin is moist and helps get rid of garden variety diaper rash, I feel like some other product might be more useful for getting rid of the eczema. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t and that inconsistency isn’t good for a small child.

Product Details:

This product was designed specially to help relieve the pain from very delicate skin like a child’s. It has no materials that have been seen as irritants, and it is even sold at Target stores, if there are any near you.

Pros:

-Helps moisturize dry skin well for children and adults

-Gets rid of diaper rash

Cons:

Overall Impression:

I thought I really liked this product at first, but once I noticed that it stopped working occasionally, I got worried. I didn’t want my child dealing with a product that only worked off and on. I ended up switching to a different cream that seems to be working well and has the strength to get rid of eczema every time. While this is very soothing, it is not always effective and that’s a problem.
